- How quickly can I get an auto glass quote?
- We reply with a free quote within two hours during business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM). Calling or texting is fastest — send your year, make and model plus where the damage is and we can usually tell you straight away whether it's a repair or a replacement.
- Does Glass Detail offer mobile windshield service?
- Yes. Mobile units cover Phoenix and Central Arizona and carry the same certified technicians, Sika-certified adhesive, OEM-quality glass and Autel calibration equipment we use on every job, with no travel surcharge and the same lifetime workmanship warranty. All we need is a level place to park with room to work.
- Do you work with auto insurance?
- We work with all major insurers and file the claim for you, verifying your coverage before any work starts. Many Arizona comprehensive policies cover windshield repair with little or no deductible, though coverage varies by policy.
- What information do you need for a windshield quote?
- Year, make and model; where the damage is; and your ZIP code so we know where we're heading. If your vehicle has a camera behind the mirror or a heads-up display, mention it — that changes which glass it takes. Insurance details help if you're claiming.
- Can my windshield be repaired instead of replaced?
- Often, if it's caught early. A single chip smaller than a quarter or a short crack that's out of the driver's line of sight and away from the glass edge is usually repairable in about 15 minutes. Longer cracks, edge cracks and damage in your eyeline need replacement.
- Do you work on all makes and models?
- Yes — any make and model, including vehicles with rain sensors, acoustic glass, heads-up displays and windshield-mounted ADAS cameras. Camera-equipped vehicles are recalibrated in-house with Autel equipment after the glass is installed.
- Are weekend appointments available?
- Weekend service is available by appointment. Regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and we aim for service by the next business day.
